(Actually written on July 9th, 2009)On Tuesday, I went to a clothing store that I normally shop at. I went in to get an outfit for B's grandfather's funeral. Being pressed for time, I quickly picked out a shirt, pants and cardigan. I paid, jumped in my car and went to the mortuary to join the family.
I ended up not needing the pants that I purchased and was looking at the receipt to check their return policies, then I noticed that the clerk charged me for an extra shirt that I did not buy. Now I'm bummed because I know there is no way I can prove to them that I did not buy that item.
I shouldn't have been so ditsy and checked the receipt! I'm usually very good at that, just because this has happend in the past. I guess I just had too much on my mind at that time, and the little things weren't so important. The little details.
I'm going to stop by after work and return the pants, but also let them know that they over charged me... we'll see how that goes. I hate to complain... but in this case, its money that I lost... money that I can't afford to loose.
