(Actually written on July 9th, 2009)
I work at an out-patient clinic, I am currently posted in the Call Center. It's a closed off area where we get the bulk of calls to schedule/cancel appointments and everything in between.
Pros:
I have a great view and most days I enjoy what I do.
I work with three other ladies and we all get a long (for the most part).
Whene it's slow, I can wonder the world wide web (limited sites).
There are no supervisors watching over you.
It's redundant, I know what to expect.
It's easy.
Now things aren't always great! We get a lot of Senoir Citizen callers and they are really something, Think Mr. Wilson (Dennis the Menice) on steriods! Those callers are what really make this a hard job.
Sometimes you get lucky and get the easy calls, to cancel and appointment, or they want to leave a message for their doctor, etc. That's fine...easy! Other times, I want to be able to reach into the phone and beat the sense into callers for acting so stupid and wasting my time. I mean they call to fight or to complain, and when you read deeper into the notes, you see that there is no point to what they are saying!
I am only working until I (or B) win a huge jackpot, until that day comes I'm stuck here putting up with senior citizens and their lameness. *grins*
