Sigh.....

Ever have one of those days? I just feel really

unmotivated, uninspired and lazy. I'm not sure if it's the weather or something deeper. Iguess I'll find out sooner than later.

In realted news... I made an appointment to visit my doctor. As I was saying above *points up* I've been feeling off, so I made the call to find out if maybe I have something? An unbalanced or whatever... B said the sacriest thing to me...

B: What if you are pregnant?

M: ......
B: Are you ok?
M: That's not funny....
B: Ok... *grins* Imagie if you we--
M: Shhhhh don't say it... don't say it....

Zzzzz

I am so tired this morning!
It was the hardest task for me to get out of my comfy bed. B let me sleep in a little later than normal, which was nice... but it was still not enough. I don't know about you, but the best sleep is that before the alarm goes off. The heat isn't helping much either. It's so early and already the sun is blazing. It makes me want to lay in bed and just slip into a dream world...
Last night B and I went to the mall to return some things I bought and didn't need. I can't tell you how many times I make purchases that I do not need. It's annoying because as I am paying, I can't help but think... "I really don't need this..." Then I get home and remember why I went out in the first place, and kick myself for not getting what I needed.
As we were walking around, I noticed all the teens and tweens... and I started to miss my early teen-hood. Then I noticed something I never really paid attention to before. The kids were in groups of no less than 4 and no more than 10, but they were all texting! I remember I would only call people to arrange the meeting, or they would call me with extra details. When we finally did find each other, we would talk to... (call me crazy) each other! Maybe I'm getting old and uncool!

What I learned over the weekend...

I do not work well in the heat.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is full of crazies, and I love it!
I don't... do not like poorly behaved children.
I actually do sunburn.
I really enjoy a nice glass of icy water.
I love sitting on the balcony with B watching the stars pop up.
I really need to get shorts!

Ehhh

I really don't like Monday's.
Work is always crazy because people feel that since we are closed on the weekends, any issues they had after 4:30 pm on Friday is of our concern.

We get the dumbest calls on Mondays... so I think that's what makes it so bad. Having to deal with the all the strange issues people come up with is just too much to ask from us.

We have to be patient, understanding and explain the policies and facts to our callers. The worst part? They are ALL the same people, they are always the same callers, every Monday it's the same caller...with the same question!

We should always have three day weekends. I think I would really enjoy working 4, 10 hr days. Wouldn't you?

Friday!

At work, one of the supervisors writes a daily quote on the scheduling board, sometimes they are really good quotes and other times they make no sense. I think I want to start doing something like that, but only on Fridays... the most important day of the week in my opinion.

Rip Off!

On Tuesday, I went to a clothing store that I normally shop at. I went in to get an outfit for B's grandfather's funeral. Being pressed for time, I quickly picked out a shirt, pants and cardigan. I paid, jumped in my car and went to the mortuary to join the family.

I ended up not needing the pants that I purchased and was looking at the receipt to check their return policies, then I noticed that the clerk charged me for an extra shirt that I did not buy. Now I'm bummed because I know there is no way I can prove to them that I did not buy that item.

I shouldn't have been so ditsy and checked the receipt! I'm usually very good at that, just because this has happend in the past. I guess I just had too much on my mind at that time, and the little things weren't so important. The little details.

I'm going to stop by after work and return the pants, but also let them know that they over charged me... we'll see how that goes. I hate to complain... but in this case, its money that I lost... money that I can't afford to loose.

Sofa for one please!

B's brother has been staying with us, and although I love him to bits, it's always a little weird having a house guest. I had to remind myself not to do things I would normally do. Like wear a bathrobe after getting out the shower and not just walk around in a towel. Or to make sure that I have all the items I need when changing versus walking around the place looking for my shirt... while in a bra.

Now that the funeral has passed, most of the visitors are heading back home and B's brother (The European) can once again sleep in his room. B had to leave his keys and remote to the garage door to The European this morning so that he could get out once he woke up and he will leave them at their Mama's house. B will stop by after work and pick up his ish.

(I'm sure this will happen) I hope he eats dinner at his Mama's tonight. I am so pooped! We have been running all over and now I just want to melt into the sofa. If B eats at his Mama's I can heat up a Cup-o-Noodle and channel surf.

Another thing, I haven't been to my Mama's house. I stop by after work (sometimes) to say Hello and visit with the kiddies. Since they are on summer vacation, we go swimming or get ice cream, then on the Friday nights, we rent movies.
